Equipment Finance Cares (EF Cares) released the dates and locations for its 2024 events:
- 20 – Huntington Beach, CA – Hosted by Blue Street Capital
- May 14 – Philadelphia – Hosted by Oakmont Capital Services
- 5 – Annual Equipment Finance Cares Charitable Golf Tournament at Rockland County Country Club in New York
- 25 – Minneapolis – Hosted by Channel
“EF Cares continues to focus on the human side of the equipment finance industry,” Jesse Johnson, president of Consult Disrupt and founder of Equipment Finance Cares, said. “EF Cares is looking forward to the four planned events in addition to other impromptu volunteerism initiatives that will take place in 2024.”
Equipment Finance Cares hosted more than 300 equipment finance professionals from 150 different organizations in 2023. The events consisted of panels and speakers that were comprised of industry thought leaders. Topics of discussion included industry benchmarks; best hiring practices; diversity, equity and inclusion; cultivating younger talent; mental health; navigating the work-from-home environment; how to have a healthy work/life balance and more. Equipment Finance Cares donated more than $25,000 to 24 different charities and foundations that are affiliated with equipment finance industry professionals in 2023. During the year, the organization hosted the inaugural Equipment Finance Cares Charity Golf Tournament, which feature more than 100 equipment finance professionals and raised $15,000 to support the newly established Equipment Finance Cares Charitable Fund.
