Equipment Finance Cares will host its Connecticut regional event on May 13, 2026, in Norwalk, CT, co-hosted by North Mill Equipment Finance and the National Equipment Finance Association (NEFA).
“Equipment Finance Cares is excited to head to Connecticut,” Jesse Johnson, founder of Equipment Finance Cares, said. “We are grateful to North Mill Equipment Finance for hosting and to our sponsors for making these events possible.”
The event will begin with a volunteer activity in the morning, reinforcing Equipment Finance Cares’ mission to give back to communities connected to the equipment finance industry. Following the volunteer event, attendees will participate in a panel titled “The Human Side of Equipment Finance,” moderated by Mark Bonanno, President & Chief Revenue Officer of North Mill Equipment Finance. Panelists include Eric Miller from Ansley Park Capital, Dominic Janney from Cannon Equipment Finance, Josh Power from Golden Capital, and Wren Rex from Post Road. The discussion will explore leadership, culture, and the evolving human dynamics within the equipment finance industry.
The central theme of the event, “The Human Element of AI,” will be brought to life through an interactive presentation by RJ Grimshaw. Grimshaw’s session will examine how artificial intelligence is shaping the industry while emphasizing the critical role of human connection, judgment, and leadership in an increasingly digital world.
“We’re proud to host this important event alongside NEFA and Equipment Finance Cares,” Mark Bonanno said. “As our industry embraces AI and technological advancement, it’s more important than ever to stay grounded in the human relationships and values that drive long-term success. This event is an opportunity to have honest, meaningful conversations about where we’re headed and how we lead through that change.”
The event will conclude with networking, offering attendees the opportunity to connect with peers, share insights, and continue building relationships across the equipment finance community.
