First Citizens Bank has named Israel Gibbs as Area Executive for the bank’s North Florida market to grow its banking business in the state. Gibbs will lead business and branch banking operations in the Jacksonville region.

Gibbs has over two decades of experience in commercial and retail banking with a proven track record of managing multiple branches in several regions. He initially joined First Citizens Bank in January 2007 and over the years has served in various roles, including business and commercial banking with a focus on clients in the medical, professional services and industrial space in the growth phase of their business cycle. Most recently, Gibbs served as Area Executive for the bank’s Dallas, Texas market and has previously served in commercial banking leadership roles for the bank in the Southeast Florida area. He earned his bachelor’s degree from WGU Texas with a concentration in business management.
First Citizens Bank has had a presence in the Florida market for more than 20 years and today has over 1,000 associates in the state and 26 branch locations.
