Katerina Jones, the chief marketing officer of Fleet Advantage, a provider of specialty financing, fleet data analytics, fleet management services and life cycle cost management, was honored with the National Private Truck Council’s Excellence in Membership Award at the organization’s 2024 annual conference and exhibition.
The award ceremony, held on April 21, celebrated Jones’s dedication and support in fostering growth within NPTC’s membership base. The NPTC’s Excellence in Membership Award is given annually to an employee of an NPTC member company that provides transportation-related products or services to the private fleet industry.
Jones has more than 20 years of client-centric, data-driven and integrated marketing experience across a range of industries and services. With more than eight years of participation in the NPTC, Jones is a member of the organization’s annual conference planning committee and has utilized her private fleet knowledge to contribute to shaping content and enhancing the networking value of workshops and seminars. Jones has been an active member of NPTC, attending every meeting since 2014 and embracing a leadership role for the planning council as a committee member since 2015.
Jones helps develop and suggest topics that align with the goals of each conference. She also leverages her network to contact and vet potential speakers based on their expertise, relevance and overall appeal to each conference and event. She also serves as a moderator. Most recently, she served as a moderator at a 2023 NPTC meeting for the session she pitched titled “Equipment Spec’ing with Cost and Drivers in Mind.”
Jones also serves as a liaison between Fleet Advantage, Certified Transportation Professional (CTP) associates and the NPTC, and continuously encourages associates and others to achieve their CTP certification.
