KLC Financial has been named a 2026 Top Workplace by the Star Tribune, marking the third consecutive year the company has received the honor.
The Top Workplaces designation is based entirely on anonymous employee feedback collected through a confidential, third-party survey administered by Energage, an independent organization specializing in workplace culture research. The survey measures key drivers of engagement, including leadership, communication, alignment and opportunities for growth.
“For us, this comes down to consistency,” Shannon Smith, CEO of KLC Financial, said. “Winning three years in a row reflects a culture we’ve built over time and continue to invest in every day. It’s something we’re incredibly proud of.”
Over the past year, KLC has remained focused on strengthening employee engagement while continuing to grow. The company has expanded development opportunities, reinforced clear career paths and maintained an open, collaborative environment across teams.
“We’ve worked hard to grow without losing what makes this place special,” Lesley Farmer, business development at KLC Financial, said. “It’s a culture where people genuinely enjoy working together, feel supported and can see a long-term future here.”
