Moritt Hock & Hamroff added Sidney Balaban, Danielle Halevi, Mary Johnson, Juliette Matchton, Sam Tanenbaum, and Isaiah Williams to its 2023 summer associates and legal interns program. Balaban, Halevi, Johnson, Matchton and Tanenbaum joined the firm as summer associates, while Williams joined as a legal intern.
“Collaborating with our attorneys, the group will gain practical knowledge and real-world experience across a variety of the firm’s practice areas. As a former legal intern at MHH, I know the value both to these law students and to the firm in mentoring and developing the next generation of our attorneys,” Marc Hamroff, managing partner at Moritt Hock & Hamroff, said. “We are excited to have them on board.”
Balaban is a rising third-year law student at St. John’s University School of Law in the top 10% of his class and is a staff member of the St. John’s Law Review. He earned his B.A. in Russian and Eurasian studies from Bard College.
Halevi is a rising third-year law student at Benjamin J. Cardozo School of Law. She earned her B.A. in political science from Stony Brook University where she was on the dean’s list and a member of Sigma Delta Tau Service and Leadership Sorority.
Johnson is a rising third-year law student at St. John’s University School of Law. She earned her B.A. in psychology from the University of Notre Dame. Johnson served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Joseph F. Bianco of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Matchton is a rising third-year law student at the Maurice A. Dean School of Law at Hofstra University. She earned her B.A. in communications and media studies from the University of Michigan.
Tanenbaum is a rising third-year law student at Fordham University School of Law. He earned his B.A. in economics from the University of Maryland.
Previously, Matchton and Tanenbaum served as legal interns in the firm’s 2022 summer program.
Williams is a rising second-year law student at St. John’s University School of Law where he is an active member of the Black Law Students Association, Entertainment Arts and Sports Law Society and Intellectual Property Law Society. He earned his B.A. in psychology from New York University.
