Commercial Credit Group Launches Fuel Card

Independent commercial equipment finance company Commercial Credit Group (CCG) launched a branded fuel card, which will be offered through a partnership with TransConnect Services (TCS), a provider of transportation services, including fuel cards.

The CCG fuel card will require no activation, membership, monthly or annual fees, or monthly gallon minimums. The card is accepted at more than 12,000 locations across the U.S. and Canada, and when used at the more than 1,500 in-network fueling locations, there are no transaction fees.

Card holders have access to a mobile app, an interactive fuel finder map, 24/7 live customer service, and an online client portal in which they can view all their account information and access itemized statements for easy compliance with IFTA reporting.

“Given the fuel needs of our customer base, a fuel card with industry leading discounts and acceptability can be highly impactful to their bottom line,” Dan McDonough, president and CEO of CCG, said. “We are passing 100% of the fuel savings to our customers, enabling them to better manage the high cost of running a business. CCG customers will also have credit options available to them to enhance the card usage.”

“At the heart of our success lies the power of strong partnerships,” Chris Courts, president and managing director of TCS, said. “Collaborating with trusted partners like Commercial Credit Group to deliver industry-leading diesel fuel discounts while providing exceptional 24/7 customer service and cutting-edge technologies levels the playing field and empowers small to mid-sized trucking companies to compete in a volatile market.”
