CoreTech Hires McDonald as Treasury Director

CoreTech, an independent technology and equipment lessor, hired Mike McDonald, CLFP, as the firm’s new treasury director.

In his role, McDonald will be responsible for leading, building and strategically running the company’s treasury function to support CoreTech’s risk management, funding, investment, cash management, operational and growth goals. In previous roles, McDonald served in both leadership and individual contributor roles in finance, accounting, pricing, portfolio management and sales for a variety of funding sources.

“I am very fortunate and excited to join the CoreTech team,” McDonald said. “The treasury group at CoreTech has a lot of knowledge and talent and I’m excited to build upon the teams’ solid foundation. I am excited to bring my unique perspective to this high performing team.”

“We could not have asked for a better addition to this already incredible CoreTech leadership team,” Candace Reinhart, COO/CXO at CoreTech, said. “Mike is resolute in his desire to make a positive impact on this market and brings the perfect pairing of creativity, measure and strategy to make incredible things attainable for our treasury team and every client we get the pleasure to work for. I can’t wait to see what 2023 has in store for all of us and I am thrilled Mike will be here to help us grow the good business we are so passionate about.”

McDonald earned his Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP) designation in 2019 and currently serves as the treasurer on the CLFP Foundation’s executive committee and board of directors.
