JPMorgan Chase Promotes Sable to CFO for Commercial Banking

JPMorgan Chase promoted Matt Sable to CFO for commercial banking. Sable will be based in New York and will report to Doug Petno, CEO of commercial banking at JPMorgan Chase, and Jeremy Barnum, CFO of JPMorgan Chase.

In this role, Sable and his team will be responsible for planning, managing and running all financial activities for JPMorgan Chase Commercial Banking. He’ll also play a role in leading a business management organization that supports JPMorgan Chase Commercial Banking’s strategic objectives.

Throughout his 22-year career at the firm, Sable has held multiple leadership roles across the bank, most recently as the group head for corporate client banking’s financial institutions group and previously as the head of strategy for commercial banking.

“We’re confident that Matt’s extensive industry experience and proven leadership capabilities will bring tremendous value to our finance and business management team for JPMorgan Chase Commercial Banking,” Petno and Barnum said in a joint memo.
