Oakmont Capital Services Promotes Noreen and Schimek, Expands Team

Oakmont Capital Services promoted Tatum Noreen, CLFP, to inside sales manager and Jodie Schimek, CLFP, to credit supervisor. OCS also hired Alex Gerads and Brooke Poepping as account managers and Sara Revermann as a receptionist. The promotions and hires were made at OCS’ Albany, MN, branch.

“Our organization is committed to providing a five-star lending experience to our customers and partners nationwide. To accomplish this, we must develop our existing talent at our Pennsylvania and Minnesota locations while onboarding qualified personnel to strengthen our teams,” Daryn Lecy, CLFP, COO of OCS, said.

Noreen will continue to work with OCS’ returning customers and assume new responsibilities. She will oversee the account management team to ensure they have the training, tools and coaching needed to serve OCS’ customers.

“Since Tatum joined the organization in 2021, she has exhibited a passion for the industry and has played an integral part in evolving OCS’ inside sales approach,” Jim Peach, CLFP, senior vice president of sales and marketing at OCS, said. “Expanding the account management team is part of this approach, and Tatum has displayed the leadership skills time and time again that are needed to successfully develop the department’s newest employees.”

Schimek will work with OCS’ vice president of credit to ensure the credit team continues to review and approve customer deals quickly and efficiently. She will help guide the team of credit analysts as they work together on day-to-day activities in addition to improving OCS’ processes.

We are excited about her growth and continued achievements,” Mikki Henkelman, CLFP, vice president of credit and risk at OCS, said. “Our leadership team is thankful to Jodie for her invaluable contributions.”

Gerads recently graduated from St. Cloud State, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in finance and a professional communications certificate. Gerads has experience working in the tree care and landscaping industries and will service OCS’ current customers across those sectors.

Poepping has a decade of customer service and finance experience. Poepping will focus on supporting OCS’s current customers and helping them plan future purchases.

Revermann has a background in customer service with more than 20 years of experience. She enjoys working directly with customers to provide positive, helpful engagements.
