Onset Financial hired Michael Mayfield as senior vice president of remarketing and strategic development. In his new role at Onset, Mayfield will be responsible for managing the end-of-term lease settlements and negotiations with Onset’s customers.

Mayfield previously spent 25 years building a law practice at a Salt Lake City law firm. His practice focused on commercial litigation. In 2023, Mayfield was selected for inclusion on the list of the Best Lawyers in America in banking and finance law, and by Mountain States Super Lawyers in Banking Law. Mayfield’s peers have repeatedly voted him as one of Utah’s legal elite, as published by Utah Business Magazine. In 2021, the banking and finance section of the Utah State Bar recognized Mayfield with its Distinguished Service Award. He has also maintained an AV Preeminent rating with Martindale-Hubbell.
