Elise Linn began her career in equipment finance in 2003, immediately after earning her Bachelor of Science degree in finance. From day one, she immersed herself in the industry, building her expertise from the ground up. Over the years, Linn has held nearly every position in the sales lifecycle, including Inside Sales, Account Manager, Business Development Officer, OEM Account Manager and, ultimately, Sales Manager. This hands-on experience has given her a deep understanding of customer needs, operational challenges and strategic opportunities, shaping her into a well-rounded and highly effective leader.

Linn joined Oakmont Capital Services in 2018 and quickly made her mark. She played a central role in launching OEM programs that helped fuel Oakmont’s growth, significantly increasing the company’s funded volume. These programs became a cornerstone of the company’s expansion strategy and demonstrated Linn’s ability to drive meaningful results through strategic partnerships.

In 2020, Linn stepped into the role of Sales Manager, a position that allowed her to combine her passion for equipment finance with her natural leadership talent. Her approach is rooted in empowerment, collaboration and continuous improvement. Linn is known for creating an environment where team members are encouraged to grow, push past their comfort zones and contribute to a shared vision of success.

Linn’s leadership extends far beyond performance metrics. She is deeply committed to the professional and personal development of her team. Whether she’s mentoring new hires or guiding experienced professionals, Linn leads with heart, integrity and purpose. Her success is measured not just in numbers, but in the confidence she instills in others and the culture of excellence she fosters.

One of Linn’s proudest achievements has been building and leading customer-focused sales teams that deliver both results and lasting value. Her impact is visible not only in the numbers but in the relationships she’s cultivated across the equipment finance industry. These relationships — formed through years of consistent service, follow-through and trust — are the foundation of her success.

Jim Peach, CLFP, Oakmont’s SVP of Sales and Marketing, sums up her impact: “Elise stands out in our industry not just for her exceptional sales acumen, but for her rare ability to build genuine, lasting relationships — with clients, colleagues and partners alike. Her approach is rooted in empathy and insight, which allows her to understand partners’ needs on a deeper level and deliver solutions that truly resonate.

“Elise has been a driving force behind the success of our largest OEM partnership, consistently going beyond the role of a Sales Manager to act as a strategic liaison. When Elise first helped onboard our largest OEM account, the relationship was stable but transactional. She saw untapped potential and made it her mission to transform it into a true strategic partnership. Elise began by conducting regular business reviews with the OEM’s leadership to identify areas where we could add value beyond just financing their products and servicing their dealers. Internally, Elise’s approach became the gold standard for strategic account growth. Her ability to listen, anticipate and build trust has elevated our standing with the OEM and turned a key account into a cornerstone of our business.”

“The foundation of deep-rooted relationships is being approachable, dependable and real. At the end of the day, people like working with people — and that’s where I’ve found my true passion in equipment finance. It’s not just about transactions; it’s about trust, connection and showing up with integrity every single time.”
