At Regents Capital, Jaclyn Munoz leads portfolio management with resilience, strategic vision and a hands-on style that strengthens client relationships and drives operational success. As Director of Portfolio Management, Munoz brings extensive industry experience and an ability to balance strategic vision with operational precision. Since joining the company in 2017, she has contributed to policies and procedures that support growth, safeguard profitability and strengthen client relationships. Her work reflects a focus on both operational efficiency and client service, ensuring that the company’s portfolio is managed with consistency and care.

Munoz’s career began in collections, where she developed adaptability and a strong understanding of operational dynamics. During the recession, as her prior company downsized, she took on multiple roles to bridge gaps. Those responsibilities ranged from credit support to customer service, giving her a well-rounded view of how different functions work together. When the organization rebounded, she advanced steadily, using those experiences to broaden her expertise and prepare for future leadership opportunities.

At Regents, Munoz leads with a hands-on approach, working alongside her team while mentoring emerging talent and navigating complex challenges. She oversees every aspect of portfolio management, including booking, titling, customer service, collections, legal and asset management. Her ability to manage across functions allows her to address challenges quickly while supporting her team’s development.

In the past year, Munoz collaborated with Regents’ IT team to design and implement a proprietary servicing platform. The system enhanced the company’s ability to manage delinquency, streamline customer service queues and oversee end-of-lease returns and repossessions. She finds it rewarding to see projects come to life through collaboration with colleagues and lending partners, noting that teamwork is central to successful execution.

Colleagues emphasize her commitment to mentoring and professional growth. “Jaclyn’s industry knowledge and experience make her a true asset, but it’s her ability to blend collections expertise with outstanding customer service that makes her stand out,” says Brian Manson, Vice President of Credit at Regents Capital. “She consistently delivers results while maintaining strong intercompany relationships, reflecting the professionalism and integrity our industry values most.”

Munoz’s leadership philosophy also reflects her perspective on women in the industry. “I always tell people not to hold back from going after roles that seem out of reach just because they’ve traditionally been male-dominated. That mindset only limits your potential. Real growth doesn’t happen in comfort. Choosing courage is what expands your opportunity.” She believes that by encouraging women to step into these spaces, the industry becomes stronger and more diverse in its perspectives.

Outside of work, Munoz volunteers weekly at her local parish, serving as a Ministry Leader and Catechist for the Adult Confirmation Program. Her commitment to service reflects the same dedication she brings to her professional life and demonstrates her focus on building community both inside and outside the workplace.

“Don’t hold back from going after roles that seem out of reach … Challenges aren’t meant to stop you — they’re meant to shape you. Every obstacle is an opportunity to dig deeper, to learn more about the industry and to discover what you’re truly capable of. Real growth doesn’t happen in comfort — choosing courage expands your opportunity.”
