With over four decades in the finance industry, Mary Neclerio has established herself as a dynamic and results-driven leader known for her operational excellence, strategic insight and commitment to people. For 18 years at Mitsubishi HC Capital America, formerly Hitachi Capital America, she has been a driving force behind transformative progress across multiple departments, guiding teams with expertise and empathy.

Neclerio’s tenure is defined by a leadership philosophy rooted in communication, collaboration and continuous growth. She has successfully led high-performing teams across collections, customer service, asset management, legal and liquidations, and inventory finance operations. Her approach centers on fostering a positive and inclusive environment where team members are encouraged to learn, challenge ideas and reach their full potential. She credits her success to the support of strong leadership, the guidance of mentors and the dedication of her team members who share her commitment to excellence.

Among her many accomplishments, she launched Mitsubishi’s customer service web portal, created new streams of fee income, improved departmental reporting and KPIs, enhanced auditing for inventory finance dealers and automated key communication processes. She also implemented robust vendor-review protocols and championed cross-training programs that enhanced agility and risk management across departments.

These efforts have consistently reduced delinquencies, lowered risk exposure and exceeded budget expectations, demonstrating her ability to align operational innovation with measurable results. Her leadership combines strategic vision with a deep understanding of the human side of business, creating teams that perform not only effectively but cohesively.

This year, Neclerio is leading the integration of five asset management teams while implementing new software solutions to make the department more cost-effective and income-generating. Her balanced approach to modernization and tradition ensures that best practices are preserved while embracing innovation. She continues to deliver results that reflect both her expertise and her passion for service.

Outside of work, Neclerio’s dedication extends to her community and faith. She serves as a Minister of the Holy Eucharist at St. Benedict of Nursia, participates in MHCA’s community action committee and contributes to organizations including the Hole in the Wall Gang, Habitat for Humanity, Soup Kitchen of Lower Fairfield County, STAR and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
