Lara Tolland, chief operating officer at Northteq, joined a company with no shortage of good ideas that lacked the connective structure to execute them consistently. As chief operating officer and integrator, she owns alignment across every function, keeping the whole company pulling in the same direction through clear, disciplined communication built around a single shared metric and goals centered on what matters most.
“We’ve roughly tripled revenue per employee in four and a half years, which means we deliver far more to clients without passing the cost of growth on to them,” Tolland says.
Under Tolland’s leadership, Northteq cut core implementations from 900 hours to 200, freeing the team to take on more without adding headcount. That discipline has paid off, with net revenue retention consistently running above 100% even as the company scales.
