Vmo Aircraft Leasing, a San Francisco-based aircraft leasing company, appointed Deirdre Ní Chearbhaill general counsel. Ní Chearbhaill, who started in the role in May, is based in the lessor’s office in Dublin and serves on the firm’s leadership team.
Ní Chearbhaill has nearly two decades of experience of working alongside various stakeholders in the aircraft leasing industry in negotiating and executing complex aircraft transactions, as well as leading and growing a cross-border team.

Ní Chearbhaill is a qualified solicitor in Ireland. She started her aviation career with McCann FitzGerald. Most recently, she was a co-head of transaction legal at Avolon, with responsibility for the execution and delivery of the company’s trading and financing transactions.
