Willis Lease Finance Corp. has appointed Z. Clifton “Clif” Dameron as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary, the company announced May 16.
Dameron will oversee all legal matters and report directly to CEO Austin C. Willis. He succeeds Dean M. Poulakidas, who stepped down to pursue other opportunities after nearly 14 years with the company.
“We are grateful to Dean for the many years he selflessly dedicated to WLFC,” said Willis. “Under his thoughtful guidance and counsel, we achieved many milestones.”
Dameron joined WLFC in 2024 as a senior vice president. He previously served as chief legal officer at Carlyle Aviation Partners and held positions at Sciens Capital Management, Bingham McCutchen, and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius.
“I look forward to building upon the great work Dean has done and working more closely with our talented team,” Dameron said. “I believe there is great market opportunity ahead.”
