XS Financial, a specialty finance company providing CAPEX and equipment financing solutions to cannabis companies in the United States, promoted Justin Vuong to CFO, replacing Stephen Christoffersen. Christoffersen will continue to be a member of the XSF board of directors and serve as a member of the company’s investment committee and chair of its audit committee.
Vuong has been a senior member of the XS management team since 2019, primarily focusing on finance, accounting and corporate development. Vuong worked closely with Christoffersen and is ascending from his prior role as senior vice president of corporate development. Vuong’s finance career spans more than a decade and includes experience in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and investment strategies.
Before joining XS Financial, Vuong served as an investment banking associate at Roth Capital Partners, where he was a part of the consumer investment banking team. While at Roth Capital Partners, Wuong completed transactions for companies within the cannabis sector, including groups like Tilray and HEXO.
