The National Equipment Finance Association (NEFA) issued a statement mourning the loss of Barry W. Ferns, who passed away last month, as previously reported by Monitor. Ferns was a longstanding member of NEFA and supporter of the association. His contributions to the legal and equipment finance and leasing industry were truly impactful, and his presence will be greatly missed. Ferns was always willing to help others in need.
Ferns was the founding partner of Ferns, Adams and Associates Law Firm. The law firm will continue under the management of Fern’s daughter, Amanda Ferns.
“My thoughts are with Barry’s family, friends, and all who had the honor of working alongside him during this difficult time,” Chad Sluss, CEO of NEFA, said.
