Pacific National Bank (PNB) appointed Wayne Potters as senior vice president and head of syndications and club deals.
Potters has over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate including CMBS and bridge lending. Prior to joining PNB, he most recently served as managing director and head of U.S. operations for KSEYE US, an affiliate of KSEYE UK. Potters has held a series of leadership roles at global financial institutions, including Société Général, where he was tapped to build and manage the CBMS lending business, The Royal Bank of Scotland, where he ran the CMBS lending business and Merril Lynch.
“It is a pleasure to welcome Wayne to our PNB family,” Carlos Fernandez-Guzman, president and CEO of PNB, said. “We are excited to have him lead our syndication desk and start up our commercial real estate club deal initiative allowing us to increase our lending capacity to key clients by bringing together lending partners to collaboratively increase the size of future loan commitments, both pivotal business elements of PNB’s future success.”
Over the course of his career, Potters has been involved in the origination and securitization of more than $40 billion in loans and has worked with a broad range of real estate investors including Blackstone, Vornado and Simon Property Group.
“Wayne’s experience and proven track record will undoubtedly make him a strong addition to the team,” Fernandez-Guzman said. “His background in commercial real estate and building and managing syndication businesses will strengthen our platform and deepen the value we deliver to our clients and partners.”
