Oakmont Capital Services (OCS) has been selected as a recipient of Finance & Commerce’s Empowering Women Award.
The Empowering Women Award recognizes organizations across Minnesota that invest in women and create workplace cultures where they can grow, lead and thrive professionally.
With offices in both West Chester, Pennsylvania, and Albany, Minnesota, OCS has built a culture that supports professional development, leadership growth and career advancement across the organization. The Minnesota team is comprised of many talented women who contribute to OCS’s success every day. Female leaders based in Minnesota lead teams, drive strategic initiatives, represent OCS at industry events nationwide and cultivate relationships with customers and partners across the country.
At OCS, women play a significant role, representing 66% of the workforce and holding 60% of leadership positions. Women also help drive strategic growth and innovation across credit, funding, operations, sales, human resources, marketing and strategic partnerships. Female leaders also contribute to the broader equipment finance industry through active involvement with organizations such as the Equipment Leasing & Finance Association (ELFA), National Equipment Finance Association (NEFA), and the CLFP Foundation, serving on committees, boards and in volunteer leadership and committee chair roles.
Through professional development opportunities, including support for employees pursuing the Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP) designation and attendance at industry conferences and leadership events nationwide, OCS helps women advance their careers in multiple ways.
“We are honored to receive this recognition and proud of the opportunities we’ve created for women to grow, lead and build meaningful careers at OCS,” Mikki Henkelman, senior vice president of credit and risk of OCS, said. “From professional development and mentorship opportunities to industry leadership involvement and internal advancement, we remain committed to helping our employees reach their full potential.”
