Airborne Capital, a global aircraft asset manager, delivered on long term lease of one Boeing B767-300BCF widebody freighter with Geosky Airlines of Georgia.
The undertaking marks Airborne Capital’s first foray in the widebody freighters market and its first transaction with Geosky Airlines. It also marks the first of several 767 freighter units that Airborne Capital is remarketing.
“We are delighted to announce this transaction and to welcome Geosky Airlines as a new customer of Airborne Capital,” Cian Dooley, founding partner at Airborne Capital, said. “Geosky is our 30th airline customer and market interest in these aircraft is strong. As this is the first of a series of widebody freighter aircraft which Airborne is remarketing on behalf of a client, we look forward to the successful remarketing of the remaining B767-300BCF aircraft in due course.”
“Geosky Airlines’ business has been growing steadily in recent years and we are delighted to add another B767-300BCF unit to address our growing business needs,” Tornike Kortoshidze, president of Geosky Airlines, said.
