Pagano has championed programs that empower individuals to excel in their roles, ensuring a culture of continuous learning and engagement.
In the past year alone, Pagano has led several initiatives that have significantly benefited both her company, Canon Financial Services (CFS), and the broader equipment finance industry. Earlier this year, CFS was recognized in Monitor’s inaugural Best Companies in Equipment Finance list in the “Culture” category. This recognition serves as a testament to Pagano’s ongoing efforts in fostering a thriving workplace culture — made even more significant because CFS’ employees submitted the nominations leading to the recognition. Additionally, CFS saw year-over-year improvement in its internal engagement survey scores, reinforcing the positive impact of Pagano’s culture initiatives.
Pagano takes pride in guiding her teams through transformative periods. By leveraging her emotional intelligence and communication skills, she builds trust and navigates complex interpersonal dynamics.

strengthen CFS’ community.
“CFS is fortunate to have a team of incredibly talented, creative and empowering people like Amy, and we are proud of her for being included in Monitor’s Top 50 Women in [Equipment Finance],” Dominic Janney, president of CFS, said. “Canon is focused on being a solid partner in creating a prosperous future, and Amy exemplifies the values that drive Canon’s success. For many years, Amy has shown to be a strong role model and an innovative force to propel the industry. We are excited for what’s to come as Amy helps pave the way for the next generation of leaders in our industry.”
Pagano is deeply committed to promoting inclusion and advocating for others, whether they belong to her company or other equipment finance organizations. As the chairperson for her local chapter of Canon’s Women in Leadership Levels (WiLL) initiative and a member of the executive steering committee for her parent company’s WiLL initiative, she works to empower and elevate women leaders. She also actively mentors employees across the Canon Americas organization through Canon’s mentorship program, helping her mentees navigate through their careers and develop their leadership potential.
Pagano’s involvement extends to serving on Canon America’s HR leadership advisory committee and as an active member of CFS’ corporate social responsibility committee, where she contributes to initiatives that foster a diverse, inclusive and socially responsible workplace, with a focus on community outreach. She also collaborates with other industry organizations to provide meaningful contributions that increase visibility and supply valuable data. Additionally, she has successfully graduated from Canon’s Executive Leadership Program. •
