Broadleaf Financial Group, a specialty finance company providing Fair Market Value leasing solutions to Fortune 1000 business and corporate customers, appointed Bennett Kowalk as chief financial officer.
Kowalk joins Broadleaf with over 16 years of experience in audit, advisory and equipment finance. In this role, he will oversee all financial operations and capital markets strategy as the company continues to scale in 2026.
“We are thrilled to welcome Bennett to our executive leadership team,” Brian Dundon, CEO of Broadleaf Financial, said. “As we continue to expand our footprint in the enterprise equipment leasing space, Bennett’s expertise in financial operations will be instrumental in driving our strategic growth and delivering value to our corporate partners.”
Prior to joining Broadleaf, Kowalk served as chief accounting officer at Verdant Commercial Capital, where he oversaw financial operations during their acquisition by Axos Bank.
“Broadleaf Financial’s focus on high-touch, FMV leasing for large-scale enterprises is a unique differentiator in the current market,” Kowalk said. “I am excited to join Brian Dundon, Audrey Kent and David Anderson to help build the financial foundation required to support our rapid scaling and market leadership.”
