Steve Burdeau, owner and founder of Standard Capital, has joined Dext Capital. Burdeau will help transition the Candela program to Dext Capital and originate future programs for the team.
Burdeau founded Standard Capital in 1996 and has served as its president since inception. A pioneer in aesthetic laser financing, Standard Capital has worked with a number of well-known vendors, developing successful programs that lead to the origination of more than $900 million for more than 10,000 customers.
Prior to Standard Capital, Burdeau served as general manager of UST Leasing and senior vice president of US Trust in Boston, where he transitioned the leasing company to a small and mid-ticket lessor and introduced credit scoring to the bank.
