DataCRaiM added Sanjeev Chawla to its advisory board. Chawla is a serial entrepreneur, former CEO and seasoned technology leader with 20+ years of experience building and scaling global businesses across telecom, healthcare IT and AI-powered communications. He has successfully founded and exited two startups — one acquired by Koch Industries and the other by Ribbon Communications.
Most recently, Chawla served as chief technology officer at TNS, a Koch portfolio company, where he led COM business unit and oversaw over 500 professionals across product, engineering and AI/data teams. At TNS, he spearheaded AI-driven fraud prevention technologies, expanded global operations and launched AI innovation labs in India and Poland.
Prior to that, Chawla founded and scaled AGNITY Global into a high-growth, profitable enterprise serving Tier 1 telecom carriers and major U.S. health systems. He has held multiple C-suite roles across startups and large enterprises, bringing deep expertise in AI, cybersecurity, product innovation and international expansion.
Chawla holds a master’s degree in computer science from George Washington University and a bachelor’s in electronics and communication engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee. He also completed the Executive CTO Program at The Wharton School.
