Brian DePonte began a new position as senior vice president, clean energy and renewables at Wintrust Commercial Finance, according to a LinkedIn post from DePonte.
Previously, DePonte served as senior vice president, energy solutions and senior vice president, innovation markets over a 13-years tenure at Key Equipment Finance.
“After 13 wonderful years at Key Equipment Finance, I’m grateful for the invaluable experiences, friendships and memories I gained,” DePonte wrote in the post. “I’m incredibly thankful for the support and collaboration experienced during my time at KEF and I’m looking forward to staying connected with my former colleagues and friends.”
In his new role, DePonte will provide financing for solar and other clean energy initiatives. “I’m eager to get things rolling in this new adventure, collaborate with talented individuals and grow the business with the innovative folks here at Wintrust,” DePonte wrote in the post.
