DLL, a global provider of asset-based financial solutions, expanded its executive board with the appointment of Jasper van Tongeren to the role of chief digital officer (CDO). The appointment takes immediate effect.
With a proven track record in digital transformation, van Tongeren has successfully led numerous high-impact ventures throughout his career. After obtaining his master of science (industrial engineering and management sciences) at the Eindhoven University of Technology, he started his career as business development manager for Inclusion Group B.V., where he worked on delivering disruptive banking solutions to the unbanked in emerging economies. He continued his career in the U.S. with various management positions in different companies, including a role as senior manager, strategy and operations at Walmart. From 2016 until 2024, he worked as chief technology officer at Beequip B.V., a Dutch equipment lease specialist for heavy equipment, vessels and vehicles.
