FGI Worldwide, a provider of working capital financing and trade credit insurance solutions, hired Jason Duke as director of business development, FGI Tech. Based out of FGI’s Boca Raton office, Duke will focus on expanding FGI’s proprietary credit insurance monitoring software, TRUST, throughout the Americas.
“Jason’s appointment represents an important next step in the growth of FGI Tech and our continued investment in the Americas,” Sami Altaher, CEO of FGI, said. “He brings strong industry experience, established relationships and a deep understanding of the market that will be instrumental as we build on the momentum behind TRUST. We are very pleased to welcome him to the FGI team.”
Duke has over 25 years of experience in financial technology, spanning enterprise software sales, product management and solutions engineering for banks, credit unions and financial technology providers. In his new role, he is responsible for business development efforts around TRUST to support financial institutions, brokers and corporations in effectively monitoring and optimizing their credit insurance policies.
“What attracted me to FGI was the opportunity to bring a proven technology to a market where there is a clear need for greater efficiency and visibility in managing credit insurance,” Duke said. “TRUST addresses many of the challenges I have seen firsthand in the industry, and I am excited to introduce the platform to new organizations and contribute to its continued growth across the Americas.”
Prior to joining FGI, Duke held enterprise sales and business development roles at Glia, Oracle and NCR, working with banks, credit unions and other financial institutions on digital banking, customer engagement and enterprise software initiatives. Earlier in his career, he held product management and solutions engineering roles focused on corporate banking, treasury management and cash management platforms at Intuit, Digital Insight and Magnet Communications. Duke holds a doctor of business administration in sales management and an M.B.A. in international business, both from Georgia State University, and a bachelor of science from Auburn University. He is currently completing a master of science in analytics at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
