First Citizens Bank’s equipment finance group named John Leber as a new regional vice president on its industrial team. Based in Phoenix, Leber will be covering a large portion of the Mountain West and West Coast California regions and will be focused on growing new relationships with equipment vendors.
“John’s experience in the construction, vocational and material handling verticals our industrial team currently serves will make him a valuable addition to the team,” JP DeStefano, western regional manager of First Citizens’ equipment finance-industrial team, said. “With an impressive track record in the equipment finance industry and a proven ability to drive growth and build strong client relationships, we are confident John’s leadership will elevate our regional operations to new heights.”
Leber’s career in equipment finance began in 1999 after graduating from University of Colorado with bachelor’s in business administration – finance. While holding positions in business development and account management covering large areas at Bell Bank Equipment Finance, Deutsche Leasing USA, Park Western Leasing and Secured Land Transport, Leber maintained a history of professional excellence and exceeded expectations in new business development activity, growth and profitability.
