First Citizens Bank, within its equipment finance group, named Gina Downing as a vice president on its industrial team. Downing will be responsible for supporting clients and growing the value of lending and leasing portfolio with a focus on construction, transportation and materials handling equipment dealers across the Midwest region. She will report to JP DeStefano, the western regional manager of the equipment finance-industrial team.

Downing’s career began in 1993 with CIT Vendor Finance as a regional sales manager for the Midwest. She later held various roles in sales and business development for Deutsche Leasing USA, Balboa Capital, Arvest Equipment Finance and Huntington National Bank.
