GA Telesis (GAT), a global company in integrated aviation solutions and aircraft lifecycle management, completed its Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association (AFRA) recertification audit, reinforcing its dedication to responsible aircraft asset management; environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles; and sustainable aircraft recycling solutions.
AFRA’s Best Management Practices (BMP) provide an industry framework for environmentally responsible aircraft disassembly and material recovery. The audit highlights GA Telesis’ approach to quality, environmental stewardship, operational safety and effective oversight of contracted aircraft disassembly activities, supporting sustainable asset management throughout the aviation lifecycle.
“Our successful AFRA recertification audit represents more than compliance; it demonstrates our ability to turn sustainability into tangible value for our customers,” Jim Sokol, president of flight solutions group at GA Telesis, said. “By connecting environmental responsibility with commercial performance, we are strengthening the aviation supply chain and driving meaningful progress toward a circular economy.”
GA Telesis also recognizes Ascent Aviation Services, its contracted aircraft disassembly partner, for its valuable collaboration, professionalism and continued support throughout the audit process.
