Industry veterans Chip Halverson and Mike Myers have joined Lynn Dixon, president of FFC, an equipment leasing company with an emphasis on the healthcare market. Halverson and Myers, both with more than 35 years’ experience in the healthcare sector, are joining FFC to help position the company for the next stage of growth. Halverson, Myers and Dixon have worked together in the past and have relationships lasting over 25 years.

“I am very excited about what we can do as a team to grow FFC and serve our customers and partners better,” Dixon said. “The three of us form a very complementary team with different areas of expertise. We can hit the ground running due to our longstanding relationships and extensive industry expertise.”

“I am excited to join Lynn and Mike at FFC as it begins its next stage of growth,” Halverson, who joins the company as chairman and CEO, said. “There is a huge opportunity in the market for a customer-centric, independent lessor. We look forward to working with our customers and partners to broaden our service offerings and grow our market share.”

“I look forward to working with our customers and partners as they make equipment acquisitions,” Myers, who joins the company as executive vice president, said. “We will provide in-depth information to assist them in getting the right equipment, at the right price, with the right terms and conditions. Through that process we will build a portfolio of high quality, appropriately priced assets.”

Halverson has 40 years of technology, finance and executive leadership experience, with over 30 years in the healthcare industry. He was one of the founding members, in 1999, of MedAssets, a private equity backed healthcare services company with emphasis on supply chain and revenue cycle. He was a senior vice president and president of the MedAssets exchange division. He was also involved in M&A activity for the company and served as a board member and member of the senior advisory board. The company went public in 2007.

Prior to that, Halverson had a 15-year tenure with Comdisco, a Fortune 500 financial services company. He served as a senior vice president, corporate officer, and member of the corporate credit committee. He was also president of the healthcare group, which oversaw the management of a $750 million lease portfolio of imaging and clinical equipment. The group had a 100,00 square foot, ISO 9000 certified facility, that refurbished and remarketed diagnostic imaging equipment.

Since 2013. Halverson has served on the board of directors of Richardson Electronics. During that time, he has been a member of the audit and compensation committees.

Halverson attained his BA from Northwestern University and an MBA in finance (with distinction) from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.

Myers has spent 45 years in the healthcare industry covering all aspects: clinical, services and capital equipment. His roles have been in sales, sales management and marketing management. He was vice president of healthcare at Meridian Leasing, a division of Meridian Group, where he conducted enhanced market segmentation, identifying emerging industry trends and developing equipment investment strategies leading to healthcare technology becoming the top category in Meridian’s equipment portfolio.

Prior to Meridian, Myers was senior vice president at First Financial Healthcare Solutions, an independent leasing provider. He led the company’s expansion into the healthcare technology market, which became their most profitable division.

Myers entered the leasing and refurbished equipment industry with Comdisco Healthcare Group, the pioneer provider of leasing and refurbished equipment services in the healthcare market and division of Comdisco. As vice president, he had varied sales and marketing responsibilities in both domestic and international markets. Following Comdisco, Myers joined MedAssets Exchange, a healthcare equipment supplier, as vice president, working with the sales force and dealer organizations in a variety of sales and marketing roles.

Myers is a cum laude graduate of Northeastern Illinois University with a BS in biology. He later earned an MBA in marketing from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.
