Moritt Hock & Hamroff Welcomes Incoming Class of 2025 Law School Graduates

MH&H welcomed Julia A. DeFazio (Garden City, NY office), Douglas Notaris (Garden City, NY office), Cole Perez-Blanco (Fort Lauderdale, FL office) and Katherine Rodriguez (Fort Lauderdale, FL office) as members of its incoming class. All previously served as summer associates of the firm.

Moritt Hock & Hamroff, a New York-headquartered commercial law firm, welcomed Julia A. DeFazio (Garden City, NY office), Douglas Notaris (Garden City, NY office), Cole Perez-Blanco (Fort Lauderdale, FL office) and Katherine Rodriguez (Fort Lauderdale, FL office) as members of its incoming class of 2025 law school graduates. DeFazio joins the firm’s condominium and cooperative services and real estate practice groups, Notaris joins the firm’s creditors’ rights, restructuring and bankruptcy and secured lending, equipment and transportation finance practice groups, Perez-Blanco joins the firm’s corporate, m&a and securities, real estate and trusts and estates practice groups and Rodriguez joins the firm’s litigation practice group.  All previously served as summer associates of the firm.

“We are delighted to welcome Julia, Douglas, Cole and Katherine to the firm” Michael Cardello III, managing partner at Moritt Hock & Hamroff, said. “The combination of their diverse paths and fresh insight will further elevate our firm and the service we deliver to clients. We’re excited to support their growth as they embark on their careers at MH&H.”

DeFazio earned her J.D. from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where she served as a 2L Senator and was a member of the Student Bar Association, Constitutional Law Society and Real Estate Society. She earned her B.A. in law society, with a minor in business management, magna cum laude, from Quinnipiac University.

Notaris earned his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozzo School of Law, where he served as editor of the Cardozzo International & Comparative Law Review (Vol. 7) and as notes editor of the Cardozzo International & Comparative Law Review (Vol. 8). He earned his M.S. in accounting from Binghamton University, State University of New York, School of Management and his B.S. in accounting and concentration in finance, magna cum laude, from Binghamton University, State University of New York, School of Management.

Perez-Blanco earned his J.D. from St. Thomas University Benjamin L. Crump College of Law, where he served on the Intercultural Human Rights Law Review and as a member of the Student Bar Association Honors and Ethics Council.  He earned his B.S. in finance from Florida State University.

Rodriguez earned her J.D. from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College, where she was a Pro Bono Honor Program, Bronze Award Recipient and NSU Dean’s Scholarship Recipient. She earned her B.A., summa cum laude, from Florida International University.
