Moses Joins Eastern Bank as Senior Vice President, Team Leader for Commercial & Industrial Banking in Rhode Island

An accomplished commercial banker, Robin Moses has built a distinguished career originating and managing commercial loan structures across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, medical, nonprofit and professional services.

Eastern Bank welcomed Robin Moses as senior vice president, team leader for commercial and industrial banking in Rhode Island. Moses brings more than two decades of experience in commercial lending, relationship management and community leadership. An accomplished commercial banker, Moses has built a distinguished career originating and managing commercial loan structures across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, medical, nonprofit and professional services. She has consistently been recognized as a top performer for portfolio growth, client satisfaction, leadership development and community engagement.

“We are thrilled to welcome Robin Moses to our Commercial Banking team and look forward to her leadership and market expertise as we grow our presence in Rhode Island to support the financial needs of middle market businesses operating in the region,” Greg Buscone, executive vice president, chief commercial banking officer of Eastern Bank, said. “Robin’s expertise in commercial lending, and her commitment to building trusted relationships with customers and the community, make her an outstanding addition to our team.”

Moses said, “I’m thrilled to join Eastern Bank, which is known for its personalized service, local decision-making and dedication to the communities it serves. I look forward to helping Eastern expand its presence within the vibrant business and nonprofit communities found in Rhode Island.”

Prior to joining Eastern, Moses served as senior vice president and relationship manager at Bank Rhode Island; held a senior vice president and relationship management role in commercial enterprise banking at Citizens Bank; and was a middle market portfolio manager at bank of America/Fleet Bank, where she began her career in commercial banking. Moses holds a master’s degree in business administration from Providence College and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bryant University, and she earned her Certified Public Accountant license in 1997, while working in Public Accounting.

Beyond her professional achievements, Moses is deeply dedicated to community service. A 13-year board member, she serves as current chair of the board for Special Olympics Rhode Island. Moses is a champion of inclusion and empowerment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She is active in moving the mission forward and in philanthropy for the organization. Her most meaningful role has been playing sports as a unified partner alongside the fellow athletes she serves, as a member of the Newport County YMCA Sharks Special Olympics team.
