The National Equipment Finance Association’s (NEFA) 2025 Fall Conference charity event raised a record-breaking $37,750 in support of the Chris Walker Education Fund (CWEF) and Can-Do Canines.
Hosted by the NEFA Foundation, the event combined service and networking to bring members together for a meaningful cause. Attendees spent the first hour packing supply kits for Can-Do Canines, followed by an evening of food, drinks and connection, all in support of CWEF and Can-Do Canines.
“The NEFA Fall Charity event was one of our most successful events to date with record attendance and an all-time high in financial support,” Dave Gruber, chair of the NEFA Foundation Committee and vice president at Great American Insurance Group, said. “The committee made it a goal to make this our best event ever, and we succeeded! Supporting Can-Do Canines not only brings our industry together for a great cause but also helps empower individuals with greater independence and confidence through the life-changing work these service dogs provide. It’s inspiring to see how our collective efforts can make such a lasting impact.”
