Irontrax to Sell Assets Resulting from Yellow Freight’s Bankruptcy

Irontrax, an appraisal and asset disposition company, will participate in the sale of assets resulting from the bankruptcy of trucking company Yellow Freight.

In August, Yellow and certain of its direct and indirect subsidiaries filed voluntary petitions for relief under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware for the company’s planned operational wind-down. In its wake, Yellow left behind a network of 170 truck terminals and 30,000 former employees.

While other trucking companies have absorbed the daily shipments once handled by Yellow, Irontrax will participate in the sale of properties and other assets.
