Whipple Joins Fortify as Chief Technology Officer

Fortify appointed David Whipple as its new chief technology officer. Whipple brings extensive experience in AI, SaaS and analytics, having previously founded and led several successful ventures.

Whipple’s most recent project involved developing a cyber insurance and risk analytics platform using machine learning and large language models to deliver insights on risk-based pricing and portfolio health. Prior to this, he led the development of a SaaS platform that aggregated healthcare data and processed it in real-time, which was acquired by Verisk Analytics. As chief technology officer at Verisk, Whipple played a key role in integrating multiple acquired companies into a unified IT operation.

At Fortify, Whipple will apply his expertise in technology and fintech to further the platform’s growth. His experience in building user-centric software and leading teams to success positions him well to lead Fortify’s continued commitment to delivering innovative solutions to equipment OEMs, SaaS providers and their financial partners.

“We’re in thrilling times with such rapid advancements in technology,” Whippled said. “I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to build on top of a platform that addresses an industry and market that’s screaming for innovation. I’m all in on the Fortify vision and have been impressed by what has been developed here and the people behind it. “I’m chomping at the bit to continue building to drive scale to our platform, and bring the next generation of embedded payments and finance solutions to market.”
