Northteq is introducing aurora Agent Suite, an all-new set of AI agents built directly into aurora, its Salesforce-native loan origination system for equipment finance. The first four agents cover intake, KYB, credit analytics and financial spreading, with more planned for 2027.

The AI agents are designed to take a piece of work from a team’s plate:

  • Intake Agents: Brokers and vendors want to submit deals the way they always have, so aurora meets them there, figuring out what each document is, pulling out the data, and sending only the questionable fields to your analysts. If something’s missing, the agent goes back to the broker or vendor for just that piece, so the deal doesn’t flow through your pipeline only to get kicked back again and again.
  • KYB Agent: Powered by industry leader Middesk, the KYB agent checks every file against 400+ authoritative sources and sorts out watchlist hits and name mismatches. Every finding comes with its sources and reasoning attached, so when the examiner asks a question, the answer’s already there.
  • Credit Analytics Agent: Credit memos show up already drafted, written against your own credit policy, and ready for your analyst to review. The agent reads across bureau reports, PayNet, equipment details, and financial spreads, then calls out anything outside your policy or worth a closer look.
  • Financial Spreading Agent: Financial statements come in every format imaginable, and the financial spreading agent reads them all, line by line. There’s no need to retype anything, since the spread builds itself right inside the deal.

Every agent shows its work, with each piece of data documented and traceable back to its source. Lenders can build their own agents too. Aurora works with Salesforce’s Headless 360, an open architecture with 60 new MCP tools, 30+ preconfigured skills and APIs.

“Every lender has access to AI now, and just because you can build something yourself doesn’t mean you should,” Kristian Dolan, CEO of Northteq, said. “We built the everyday work right into aurora, partnered with specialists where it made sense, and kept the platform open for the pieces lenders want to make their own. Your data and your credit judgment are what set you apart, and these agents give your team more time for both.”

Lara Tolland, chief operating officer at Northteq, added, “Lenders automate more once they trust what’s already been automated. That trust comes from being able to check the work, so every agent in the suite leaves a trail back to the source. We built it around one principle. AI where it helps. Human where it has to be.”
