RVI Group, a specialty insurance company based in Stamford, CT, promoted Wei Fan from executive vice president to chief operating officer (COO).
Fan has been a key contributor to the company since joining in 2007, having successfully led the quantitative analysis and passenger vehicle teams and growing the company’s passenger vehicle residual value insurance business from its longstanding North American revenue platform to new business in China, Australia and the United Kingdom.
“Wei has done an outstanding job in growing the passenger vehicle business and his efforts have been a key contribution in shaping RVI into who we are today,” Mike McGroarty, co-CEO of RVI Group, said. “He has been relentless in attacking new markets to expand RVI’s presence around the globe.”
“In his new role, in addition to his current responsibilities, Wei will be leading our efforts into providing credit solutions for our insureds and will focus on the development of business strategy to continue RVI’s growth,” Dan Egan, co-CEO of RVI Group, said.
