Seabury Capital Group appointed Oliver Althoff as global head of aerospace and defense (A&D) investment banking.
After having served at Seabury as managing director since 2019, including as head of North America, Althoff is succeeding Antares Reis to lead the firm’s global A&D investment banking operations. Althoff has an extensive background within the industry, bringing more than two decades of experience as a banker and senior executive in leadership roles at such leading companies as Waypoint Leasing, CIT, GE Capital and Bank of America.
“I am excited to take over the leadership of Seabury’s global A&D investment banking practice, which has achieved significant growth and success over the past decade,” Althoff said.
Reis has transitioned to the position of a senior advisor, in which he will focus on identifying opportunities across both the A&D investment banking practice and Seabury’s wider aviation businesses.
“We thank Antares for his contributions in helping to build a highly successful A&D investment banking practice,” John E. Luth, chairman, president and CEO of Seabury, said. “We are confident that we now have a winning combination with Oliver leading the global A&D team and Antares driving group-wide origination as a senior advisor.”
