Summit Funding Group added three industry veterans to its sales team: Rob McKenna, Jamie Halas and Judi Faust.
McKenna joined the team as a vice president and senior account manager. In this role, McKenna is responsible for developing and expanding the Mid-Atlantic region including NJ, PA, DE and MD markets. He has extensive experience working with a wide variety of industries, including aviation, communications, construction corporate aircraft, distribution, energy, food and beverage, manufacturing, marine, material handling, mining, packaging and waste and recycling.
McKenna brings over 30 years of experience in equipment finance including time with CIT, Citi Capital and GE Capital. Most recently, McKenna spent 11 years with Signature Financial as a vice president, executive sales officer.
McKenna graduated from Pennsylvania State University in PA with a degree in business management. He is based out of the Philadelphia area. He enjoys time with family, friends and of course customers with some occasional golf and travel.
Halas has joined Summit as a business development officer. In this role, Halas is responsible for originating equipment loans and leases leveraging his existing relationships and developing new relationships. He has extensive experience working with a wide variety of companies over his 25-year career in equipment financing.
Halas spent 14 years in structured finance with GE Capital and the last eight years with Signature Financials’ structured finance business. He is based out of Summit Funding’s Bethel, Connecticut office. When not working, Halas enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and playing an occasional round of golf and skiing with customers and friends.
Faust has joined the Summit team as a regional sales manager covering TX, OK, AR, LA, KS and MS regions. She has extensive background in material handling and construction and will be specializing in working within these industries.
She started her career as a credit analyst at Associates Commercial in the 1990’s, and worked as a regional sales manager for NACCO – Yale Financial Services early 2000’s. In 2006, she went to work for DFS covering construction. However, material handling called her back, and, in 2011, she helped build the material handling division for Bank of the West. Most recently, Faust worked for Crown Equipment as the company’s corporate credit trainer.
Faust is based out of Dallas, TX and is married with three children, two grandchildren and one more on the way. One of her sons is in the army and stationed in Colorado Springs, CO. She is an avid dog lover and has a one-year-old dachshund.
