TEL, a national provider of commercial truck leasing, sales and remarketing, is adding the Volvo VNL 860 to its lineup of Class 8 trucks available for customer lease by owner-operators and fleets. The Volvo VNL 860 will complement TEL’s existing sleeper offerings, which include the Freightliner Cascadia and Peterbilt 579.
“TEL has been a trusted provider to the transportation industry for over 20 years. We are committed to investing in equipment that supports our owner-operator and fleet partners in a way that gives them the lowest total cost to operate. Adding Volvo to our leasing lineup is a natural next step for TEL,” Aaron Thompson, vice president of asset management for TEL, said. “The Volvo VNL 860 brings a distinct combination of innovation, safety and efficiency that complements the rest of our fleet extremely well. This gives our customers more choice and flexibility while maintaining the high standards they expect from TEL equipment.”
The Volvo VNL 860 is designed with an emphasis on safety and efficiency, featuring driver assist technologies, improved aerodynamics and enhancements engineered to help reduce fuel consumption.
“Our goal has always been to provide equipment solutions that help our customers operate more safely, efficiently and profitably,” Sheri Aaberg, chief operating officer of TEL, said. “The Volvo VNL 860 aligns perfectly with that mission. By expanding our lineup beyond two industry leading models to include Volvo, we are reinforcing our commitment to choice, quality and long-term value for our customers.”
