Verdant Commercial Capital added Denise Garcia as a managing director for the technology and office automation vertical. Garcia brings more than two decades of executive leadership in vendor finance, sales operations and technology-focused financing programs.
At Verdant, she will focus on onboarding new technology vendors, strengthening relationships with large technology clients and delivering tailored financing solutions specific to the technology industry.
“Denise brings a deep expertise in technology financing, and her vendors and team members enjoy working with her,” Brian Lowe, chief commercial officer at Verdant, said. “Her experience in building high-performing teams and growing a vertical to be extremely relevant with large vendor relationships will be invaluable as we continue to build out our technology and office automation vertical.”
Most recently, Garcia served on the executive team at BMO in the vendor equipment finance group, leading both the technology and specialty finance teams. Prior to that, she consulted with major Bay Area technology companies on financial solutions for their commercial clients and spent 17 years at IBM Global Finance in roles spanning sales, operations and underwriting. Garcia also served on the ELFA Bank Business Council Steering Committee in 2025.
