Wingspire Equipment Finance closed a $140 million large equipment financing transaction with a private equity-backed company providing GPU cloud computing capacity to AI labs, enterprise customers and public-sector organizations.
The funding advances the continued expansion of the company’s high-performance cloud platform. It funded high-density GPU servers that form part of the digital backbone needed for advanced AI workloads.
“AI infrastructure requires capital partners that understand both the equipment and the pace of the market,” Spencer Jakemer, vice president at Wingspire Equipment Finance, said. “These are large, capital-intensive investments that require substantial lending capacity and structuring expertise. We were pleased to provide a financing solution designed around the company’s expansion plans and customer demand.”
