Wingspire Equipment Finance closed a $22 million equipment financing transaction with a sponsor-backed utility services platform. The company provides vegetation management, right-of-way clearing, emergency storm response and related infrastructure maintenance services.
Structured as a first amendment lease, the financing supported bucket trucks and customized utility and forestry equipment used across the company’s field operations. The equipment was purchased and placed in service during Q4/25, and Wingspire Equipment Finance converted those recent acquisitions into structured financing aligned with the assets’ expected useful life.
By converting recent equipment investments into longer-term financing, the transaction improved the company’s liquidity, diversified its capital sources and preserved capital for ongoing operations and strategic initiatives.
“Utility services companies rely on specialized heavy equipment to meet the demands of vegetation management, storm response, and infrastructure maintenance,” Thomas Wood, assistant vice president, business development at Wingspire Equipment Finance, said. “We were pleased to provide financing that supported the client’s equipment investment and growth strategy, and we look forward to building on this partnership.”
