Dext Capital, an independent equipment finance company, added Carol Riley as general counsel, based at its Portland-area headquarters.
Riley brings two decades of equipment finance and banking law experience to support Dext’s continued national expansion. She joins Dext from U.S. Bank, where she served as assistant general counsel and vice president, providing legal leadership across commercial leasing, lending, vendor finance, regulatory compliance and risk management.
At Dext, Riley will lead the company’s legal function as it scales its national platform — overseeing regulatory and compliance matters, legal and operational risk, and the continued build-out of Dext’s governance and risk management infrastructure. She’ll work closely across capital markets, sales and operations as Dext originates over $1 billion annually across tech, healthcare, AI infrastructure, education and specialty vehicles.
“Excited to be working with Carol again,” Kyin Lok, CEO of Dext Capital, said. “She’s got great common sense and a practical, business-first approach, always focused on doing right by our partners. That’s exactly what we need as we grow across multiple markets. Lucky to have her.”
