Monitor’s Converge AI is moving the equipment finance industry’s AI conversation from broad possibilities to the decisions, risks and opportunities leaders are facing now.

On Oct. 8, equipment finance professionals will come together virtually for an afternoon of practitioner-led conversations designed to answer one central question: How do we move AI from conversation to practical application?

Unlike a traditional single-track event, Monitor’s Converge AI allows attendees to choose the conversations most relevant to their roles, organizations and business priorities. Nine 50-minute breakout sessions will be offered across three concurrent rounds, giving each attendee the opportunity to participate in three interactive sessions.

Sessions include:

What It Takes to Automate Credit Decisions
Goutham Balaraman | Crossroads Equipment Lease & Finance
Why AI underwriting projects fail — and the framework organizations need to get them right.

Robotics: An Emerging Asset Class With New Rules
Scott Nelson | Reuleaux Technology and Zachary Kimball | Hardfin
What equipment finance needs to understand as intelligent, connected assets create new financing opportunities.

AI in Origination
Ryan Ragland | Valiant
A practical look at where AI can improve the deal process from the very beginning.

AI Through a Real-World Equipment Finance Lens
Deborah Reuben | TomorrowZone & Moto Tohda | Tokyo Century (USA)
How equipment finance organizations can move AI beyond experimentation and into practical application.

Building AI Into the Technology Environment
Steven Siler | North Mill Equipment Finance
How AI fits into the systems, data and workflows already supporting the business.

From AI Possibility to Practical Execution
Tawnya Stone | GreatAmerica
How to prioritize AI opportunities and turn ideas into initiatives that make sense for the organization.

Both Sides of the Cake: Equipment Finance as Funder and User of the AI Stack
Sohini Roy | 3Degrees
An exploration of where equipment finance sits in the AI economy — from financing its physical infrastructure to managing the risks and opportunities associated with AI-enabled equipment and applications.

Additional sessions and facilitators will be announced as the full Converge AI program continues to take shape.

These sessions are not presentations attendees simply sit through. Each breakout will create space for participants to question, contribute and apply what they learn to the realities of their own organizations.

AI will affect every area of equipment finance — from credit, risk and operations to sales, marketing, legal, technology and leadership. With concurrent sessions spanning these perspectives, organizations can bring colleagues from across the business, divide across the program and bring more insight back to their teams.

Monitor’s Converge AI will take place virtually on Oct. 8, 2026, from 12:00 – 5:00 p.m. ET. Registration is $349 per person, with a discounted rate of $300 per person for teams of five or more.
