Tiger Group will conduct an online auction featuring vinyl window, patio door and insulating-glass manufacturing equipment and inventory from Showcase Window and Door Company, a longtime manufacturer serving residential new-construction and replacement markets. The timed, online auction opens on Thurs., Sept. 10, at 10 a.m. (CT) and closes on Thurs., Sept. 17, at 10 a.m. (CT) at SoldTiger.com.
The assets are located in a more than 180,000-square-foot manufacturing and inventory facility in Missouri City, Texas, in the Greater Houston area. The equipment is from North American and European manufacturers, including Greller, Stürtz, GED, Hegla, Yilmaz, Joseph Machine, Pro-Line, Bilco and Haeco.
“This represents one of the most comprehensive window-and-door asset offerings we’ve seen in recent years,” Chad Farrell, senior managing director of Tiger Commercial & Industrial, a division of Tiger Group, said. “It’s an opportunity to acquire complete, production-ready manufacturing systems rather than individual machines alone. - Complete GED insulating-glass cutting and processing line with tempering oven, extruder, conveyors and argon-filling station
- 183 Window Production Line featuring a 2017 Greller G400SE-330 high-performance four-point vinyl window/door frame welder and related equipment
- 262 Window Production Line featuring Pro-Line frame and sash welders, corner cleaners and glazing equipment
- 262 Casement Production Line with Greller frame welder and Tringia cleaning system.
- Complete Patio Door Production Line with Stürtz horizontal four-point welders and CNC corner-cleaning equipment
- Simulated Divided Lite production equipment, including end mills, a saw station and worktables
- Significant quantities of finished and work-in-process windows, patio doors, extruded aluminum, vinyl casings, hardware and related inventory
In addition, the sale features machine shop, maintenance and plant-support items, along with material-handling equipment, forklifts, pallet racking and glass racks, plus office furnishings. Late-model rolling stock on offer includes Great Dane dry van trailers and Chevrolet Silverado, Jeep Cherokee and Dodge Ram pickups.
