Former LEAF Commercial Capital CEO DeMent to Retire in 2024
Crit DeMent, who led LEAF Commercial Capital as CEO from its creation to earlier this year, will step away from his current position as chairman of the company to retire in 2024. DeMent is a 40-year veteran of the equipment finance industry who co-founded LEAF with current CEO Miles Herman.
DLL Closes $1B Securitization Backed by AGCO Finance Leases and Loans
DLL closed DLLAA 2023-1, a U.S. securitization transaction, issuing notes totaling $1 billion. The notes are backed by loans and leases secured with new and used agricultural equipment originated by AGCO Finance, a joint venture between DLL (51% ownership) and AGCO (49% ownership).

First Horizon Re-Signs CEO Jordan for Five Years
Bryan Jordan, chairman, president and CEO of First Horizon Corp., signed a five-year employment agreement with the company. Jordan joined First Horizon as CFO in 2007. In 2008, he was named president and CEO.
Quiktrak Merges with Douglas-Guardian Services Corporation
After being acquired by RCap Equity Partners, Quiktrak left the Bureau Veritas Group and merged with the Douglas-Guardian Services Corporation on July 20. Sudhakar Goverdhanam was appointed the CEO of the new Quiktrak.

ISM Reports Continued Economic Activity Expansion in Services Sector
Economic activity in the services sector expanded in July for the seventh consecutive month, as the Services PMI registered 52.7%, according to the Institute for Supply Management. The sector has grown in 37 of the last 38 months, with the lone contraction in December of last year.
M&T Bank Promotes Hutton to Delaware Regional President
M&T Bank named Mark Hutton Delaware regional president. Hutton assumed the role following the retirement of Nick Lambrow, the bank’s former top executive in the state, on July 7.
